This doesn't have any real spoilers in this personal brief review of Aquaman. I've been a long time fan of Aquaman from the comics, and I didn't come away disappointed.
I saw Aquaman on the 1st. It was everything I thought it would be. Pure escapism fun! Big, pretty, fantastic visuals. I was transported to a different world for a little while. It was silly and corny at some points, but fully enjoyable. It didn't drag and movie flew by. It was like they ripped the pages of a comic and splashed it all over the screen. The third act is amazing! And the Trench sequence gorgeous and Atlantis beautifully visualized. Momoa was great in every scene he was in! Mera's powers were fully realized and super cool! I am surprised how big Kidman's part was in this as I thought it was only going to be a cameo. I also thought the scene of young Arthur introducing himself to the fishes was so adorable (before he was interrupted)!
